MEPD

Multi-Function Egress Path Device

In the actual event of a fire, smoke will fill the corridor from the ceiling downwards toward the floor, thus rendering traditional emergency lighting useless. Both the IBC and IFC have added requirements for low level lighting and path making.

Multipurpose Egress Path Device is designed to create a clear path of egress.
